Southeast Clergy Meals on Wheels
Since 1976

Our service provides a hot meal on Monday through Friday with a bonus meal for the weekend. Volunteers load up their hot meals into heated bags at 11am each day, along with a cold bag containing milk, bread/butter, any cold side dishes (applesauce, cole slaw, etc) and fruit and start out on their routes. The routes are usually 10 stops long or about 1-1/2 hours. This time allows for some chatting with clients before moving on.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we supplied clients with frozen and shelf-stable meals once a week until we were able to switch back to our standard daily hot meals in June 2021. We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Greater Cleveland Foodbank for its generous offering of food boxes for our clients, USDA dairy and produce boxes, and to Meals on Wheels America for two COVID-19 emergency grants, and donors large and small for supporting our program during this difficult time.

Helping to improve one’s qualify of living.

Our Meals on Wheels program caters to the whole person including their physical and emotional needs. We have started several programs to help us along.

Our PetSmart program assists us in providing adequate diets for our pets — dogs, cats, even birds — which are so imporant in our clients’ lives. We also provide supplies, medications, visits to the vet, cleaning materials and other needed products and services, like grooming.
Lastly we also provide a Friendly Visitor if you’d like to meet up with other friendly people for a phone visit, a home visit and more.

Our Meals on Wheels program is interested in keeping you involved and happy.
